Terms of Service

Last updated September 14, 2026

This is a plain-language summary of the terms covering use of TaskHive. It is not exhaustive legal advice for any specific situation — if your organization has particular compliance needs, please review with your own counsel.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of TaskHive (the "Service"), provided by The QA School ("we", "us"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation to join an organization, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. What TaskHive is

TaskHive is a task and project management tool: Kanban boards, subtasks, comments, and reporting for a team or organization. It is provided as-is for organizing and tracking work, and is not a system of record for anything requiring regulatory or legal compliance beyond what is stated in this document.

3. Accounts and organizations

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

An organization administrator (“org admin”) is responsible for the members they invite and for the boards and data created within their organization. Removing a member from an organization does not automatically delete content they created while a member.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to store or share unlawful content, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to another organization’s data, to interfere with the Service’s normal operation, or to use the Service in a way that violates the rights of others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for accounts or organizations that violate this section.

5. Your content

You and your organization retain ownership of the tasks, comments, attachments, and other content you create in TaskHive ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us the limited right to host, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you.

You are responsible for having the right to upload any files or content you attach to a task.

6. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the Service evolves.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, for an individual account or an entire organization, if these Terms are violated or if we discontinue the Service.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The QA School will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including loss of data or loss of productivity.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date below. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be directed to The QA School through your organization’s administrator, or through the support channel your organization normally uses to reach us.
